BitScope Designs and element14 launch new Blade for Raspberry Pi !Sydney 23rd January 2017, BitScope Designs, developer and manufacturer of cost effective embedded mixed signal test, measurement and data acquisition systems, announces the release of a new range of BitScope Blade available exclusively via global distribution partner element14↗ and its associated resellers. Blade is an infrastructure platform. It enables Raspberry Pi to be used to build reliable physical computing solutions for industrial, commercial and educational applications. BitScope Blades can be used with simple plug packs, a wide range of batteries, solar and other variable power sources, low cost uninterruptible power supplies and power over Ethernet solutions at up 48V. Blades may be used individually on the desktop, wall mounted or multiple Blades may be installed in racks for large scale deployment. Each Blade is a compact motherboard that powers and mounts one or more Raspberry Pi in a robust, simple and scalable way. Blades are designed to build solutions ranging from small stand-alone servers, routers and workstations up to full size compute clusters, private clouds, and Industrial IoT, Edge and Fog computing systems. Blades offer access to Raspberry Pi I/O for displays, cameras, keyboards, expansion boards and peripherals including BitScopes, Raspberry Pi HATs and the Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen Display. BitScope Designs also publishes open source installers and software for managing embedded and cluster computing solutions built with BitScope Blade. BitScope Blade is available in three editions:
